Michaela Rabitsch, singer, composer and Austria’s only female jazz trumpet player is called a modern day female Chet Baker by the US magazine Jazzscene. Michaela and her ingenious partner, composer and incredibly fluid guitarist Robert Pawlik, head their band. They are presenting jazz with catchy melodies, strong harmonies, groovy rhythms and adventorious improvisations in a finely balanced vocal-instrumental mix. The band members are Michaela Rabitsch (vocals, trumpet and flugelhorn), Robert Pawlik (guitar), Sheldon D’Silva (bass), Gino Banks (drums) and Vinayak Netke (percussion).
